Outdoor Holiday Wreath

I found this wreath last year at Lowe’s for $10. I picked it up thinking I could modify it and then use it on my outside gate for the holidays. I liked the giant light bulbs and the fact it can do all clear or multi-colored lights. I am going to flock it, which means make it look like it is covered in snow. First step is to cover all the lightbulbs and the plug with foil. I bought a product on Amazon called SnoFlock, which is easy as pie to use. Second step is to mist the wreath with water, sift the snow material (using a kitchen sifter) onto the wreath while lightly misting with water and then do a final mist to set the snow. I did it all outside on a large piece of plastic with my hose using the mist option on my nozzle. Now, I have to let it dry. Given it will be outside, I want to make sure and allow the full 72 hours of drying time. I’ll update my pictures in a couple days with the final product. I am going to add a few pine cones. Cannot wait to see how the wreath looks when the lights are plugged in and glowing. Should be festive!!!
